First opened in May, 2009, by founder Bobby Gurung BGGO Boutique carried many products from her home country of Nepal. It was her desire to give back to her people by purchasing local products from small, family-run, suppliers and from fair-trade organizations like Women's Skills Development Project. Bobby would travel to Asia several times per year personally selecting the products for the Boutique.
After managing numerous lounges in leading Hong Kong hotels, Bobby brings her vibrant personality to the fashion business and prides herself on providing every customer with a high degree of personal attention. Our large repeat clientele and the friends they refer are a testament to her success.
Always in tune with fashion trends and the desires of her clients Bobby has scoured North America to bring a new selection of products to compliment the trendy Asian styles already at the Boutique. BGGO now carries a great line-up of brands from contemporary designers in Montreal, New York and L.A. and many of our new lines are made right here in Canada.
On February 4th, 2012, we opened our second location in the heart of the Glebe at 751 Bank St. between First & Seconds Avenues. Bobby continually searches for new and exciting fashions guaranteed to appeal to her local clientele. Each location will have something different and unique to offer.
